GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This role is for a QA Engineer (QA).
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
Functional / Technical
· Test planning and strategy: Develop test plans, strategies, and cases based on business and non-functional requirements.
· Possess hands-on expertise in testing from T24 to TAP
· Analysis and reporting: Analyse test results, identify root causes of issues, and generate detailed reports for stakeholders
- Troubleshooting and defect resolution: Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams to implement fixes
- Environment and tool setup: Configure the test environment, manage test data, and use testing tools and software
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Professional and Technical
Professional
· Expertise in Functional Testing
· Hands on experience in testing T24 securities (SC), Derivatives (DX) and Structured Products (SY) module.
· Hands on experience in testing B2F (T24 to TAP) flows in these modules.
· Knowledge of TAP business functions and testing, and T24/TAP recon would be an advantage.
· Basic knowledge of asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Funds, Share Options, OTC options) would be a plus.
· Prepare test scenarios and test cases for gaps identified for various B2F flows. Ensure test cases coverage is end to end.
· Provide walkthrough of test artefacts to onsite counterparts for their review and sign-off.
