SOFTWARE TESTING ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing for software applications.
• Leverage in-house GenAI tools for test case generation, enrichment, and testing efficiency improvements.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects and issues until closure.
• Ensure all test executions and deliverables are completed within project timelines.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans aligned with project requirements and customer expectations.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to validate fixes and implement improvements.
• Report testing progress, results, and defects clearly to stakeholders and management.
• Provide recommendations to improve software quality, testing processes, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or related roles.
• Experience working in SaaS, technology consulting, or software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Appium, and other automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE will be an added advantage.
