Network Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Support network infrastructure projects and provide support in resolving network incidents and issues.
• Provide post-cutover support for various projects as directed by the IT Network team.
• Participate in project meetings, discussions, and project handovers.
• Prepare, review, and submit project-related documents, reports, and metrics as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues.
• Manage and monitor system utilization and performance during pre-project and post-project cutovers.
• Perform additional tasks and assignments as required by the Company.
• Work closely with project teams to understand network requirements and objectives, ensuring seamless integration of network infrastructure within the integrated resort environment.
• Provide comprehensive support and administration for Cisco routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Implement and manage network solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Configure and optimize network devices, including routers and switches.
• Configure multicasting protocols to ensure efficient multicast traffic distribution.
• Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements or upgrades aligned with project goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably within project-oriented environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures such as OSPF, BGP, IP Multicast, and Policy Routing.
• Hands-on experience in Layer 3 Routing and Layer 2 Switching, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco devices.
• Experience in network infrastructure design and implementation, including LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud networks.
• Skilled in Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, VTP, STP, RSTP, Inter-VLAN Routing, VLAN Trunking, EtherChannels, VLAN access-maps, and port security.
• Solid experience in switching technologies and related implementations.
• Familiarity with network security concepts including firewalls, IDS, NAC, and access control.
