Engineer (System Design, Configuration, Testing) $3.8K - $5.5K + Variable Bonus (West Area)

Key Duties

• Develop engineering designs based on client technical specifications and project requirements
• Prepare and manage engineering documentation (VDRL) accurately and on schedule
• Produce engineering sketches and coordinate with AUTOCAD drafters for drawing deliverables
• Review and ensure engineering drawings comply with industry standards and best practices
• Support equipment assembly, cabinet integration, system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and provide technical presentations/training to clients
• Support commissioning activities and troubleshooting when required
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project execution
• Perform additional engineering duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Telecommunication or Industrial Engineering projects
• Experience in Telecom, Marine Communication, Safety, or Security Systems Integration
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and telecommunication systems
• Good documentation, coordination, and time management skills
• Able to communicate technical concepts effectively with customers and suppliers
• Team player with strong problem-solving and project coordination skills
• Experience with AUTOCAD will be an advantage
• Site commissioning or radio surveying experience under SOLAS / MODU standards is an advantage
• Experience using coverage and design tools such as CadnaA, Ekahau, or iBwave is an added advantage
