Senior Cybersecurity Specialist (Global MNC; OT)

Lico Resources, a specialist in Cybersecurity & Tech GRC recruitment, is partnering with a prominent organization specializing in sustainable energy and technological advancements. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cyber Security Specialist (OT) to join their Cyber Security team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in protecting critical industrial operations and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity legislation in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust security controls to safeguard operative technology systems, including SCADA, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and critical infrastructure.
• Conduct regular vulnerability and risk assessments, identifying potential security weaknesses and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization.
• Monitor evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regional regulations, providing strategic guidance on their implications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity legislation and standards, including PDPA and industry-specific frameworks.
• Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, implementing effective incident response plans.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to employees, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a strong security culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on operative technology security.
• Proven expertise in securing SCADA, ICS, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity legislation and regulations in Asia, including PDPA, and familiarity with international frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
• Singaporean citizenship or a valid work permit in Singapore.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in conducting cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
• Proficiency in security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical approach to risk assessment.
• Effective communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
