M&E Engineer (Construction Sector; site-based role)

Come be part of our client’s dynamic team-oriented workforce! We are looking for committed M&E Engineers who are able to handle the end-to-end planning and execution of all Mechanical & Electrical works according to regulatory compliance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review/Prepare M&E drawings.
• Ensure compliance with required specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for design/inspection approvals.
• Develop work schedule aligned with master programme.
• Monitor site progress and ensure milestone compliance. 
• Manage subcontractors and specialist vendors.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Prepare/Oversee Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures.

• ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation)
• Mechanical Ventilation & Smoke Control
• Fire Protection Systems (Sprinkler, Hydrant, Hosereel)
• Plumbing & Sanitary Systems 
• Rainwater Harvesting (if applicable)

Electrical Systems

• LV Power Distribution
• Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (if applicable)        
• Lighting & Emergency Lighting  
• Lightning Protection System
• Earthing & Bonding
• Backup Power (Generator/UPS)
• Solar PV System (if applicable)

ELV / ICT Systems             

• CCTV
• PA System   
• Information Display System       
• Access Control
• Security Systems
• SCADA/BMS Integration
• Data & Telecom Infrastructure

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in infrastructure or government projects.
• Knowledge of Singapore public infrastructure codes and standards.
• Familiar with BIM coordination tools.
• Strong knowledge in T&C procedures.
• Driven and keen to learn/grow.
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Technical problem-solving ability in fast paced environment
• Ability to manage subcontractors
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
