Job Responsibilities As an Assistant Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the design, development, and support of mechanical components and assemblies. Your responsibilities include:

• Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks based on engineering requirements

• Preparing manufacturing drawings including GD&T, tolerances, BOM, and material specifications

• Collaborating with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance

• Maintaining CAD data, drawing revisions, and technical documentation

• Supporting prototyping, testing, and production with accurate technical drawings

• Assisting in troubleshooting design issues and improving product performance

• Providing hands-on support for prototype builds, assembly checks, and part validation

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• 1 year of relevant experience

• Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD software (2D & 3D)

• Strong understanding of mechanical design and technical drawings

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to be hands-on in engineering tasks
