Global Logistics Engineer, Global Transportation & Logistics (GTL)

Nashville, Tennessee, USA
full-timeSupply Chain/Transportation Management

Job Description

Are you ready to solve complex opportunities related to end-to-end logistics operations? Amazon is seeking an accomplished Global Logistics Engineer to champion operational innovation and build best-in-class logistics solutions across our global network.

This isn't just a job — it's an opportunity to redefine the boundaries of what's possible in logistics. As our Global Logistics Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing worldwide transportation, warehouse topology, distribution, and supply chain processes — spanning inbound, outbound, forward, and reverse freight flows across globally — to improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen compliance, and support customer delivery requirements.

This role works cross-functionally with carriers, brokers, finance, trade compliance, IT, procurement, and regional logistics teams to ensure efficient operations. The Global Logistics Engineer partners across Global Transportation & Logistics (GTL), Global RAD Operations (GRO), Tech Supply Chain (TSC), and external logistics providers to turn data into action and deliver scalable transportation solutions.

This is an individual contributor role with significant informal leadership responsibility — influencing decisions up and down our organization and across partner teams without direct authority. If you thrive on solving complex logistics challenges, have a passion for operational excellence, and want to make a tangible impact on a global scale, this role is your gateway to redefining the future of logistics!
