Position: Instock Manager III AMZ17101.9
Location: Sunnyvale, California
Multiple Positions Available:
1. Analyze and coordinate the logistics of launch system and process improvements with vendors through order management, operations, inventory management, promotions, purchasing, production, forecasting, shipments, and demand planning throughout the product lifecycle.
2. Analyze data using SQL and Excel, and work with vendors to manage inventory levels in order to improve inventory availability and efficiency.
3. Utilize analytical tools forecast and manage efficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health, including projecting, purchasing and removing unproductive inventory.
4. Collaborate with Vendors and other stakeholders to achieve KPI goals. Continuously improve key end-to-end planning performance indicators.
5. Work with Amazon's existing vendor base to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfillment centers; plan product transitions and reduce errors in forecasting and with supply chain to optimize space utilization; develop and launch projects that will streamline supply systems and processes and drive operational improvements.
6. Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required
7. Schedule and host meetings with manufacturing partners in U.S. and/or globally as required, reducing and eliminating shortages
8. Coordinate forecast with corporate, develop build plan and communicate to all required individuals
9. Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan
10. Work with finance and other teams to monitor and report budget
11. Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and team in Sunnyvale monitoring, managing and driving the OEM to assure goals/schedule is being met
12. Be responsible for report generation and distribution
13. Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings
14. Diagnose and explain complex Production and Supply Chain issues and lead stakeholders through the resolution until the issue is fully resolved
15. Lead and direct changes to production, material supply, transportation, and distribution/allocation
16. Guide the Core Team in determining production line ramp patterns, line speed, factory overtime assumptions, risk factors, yield and efficiency curves
17. Owning and communicating the global supply allocation plan to global stakeholders
18. Create and implement inventory allocation strategies to maximize inventory placement, turns, sales, and customer experience.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $144,914.00/year to $185,000.00/year)
