Amazon seeks an experienced Product Compliance Program Manager to lead compliance operations for our rapidly expanding international marketplaces. This role drives the operationalization of regulatory compliance processes, ensuring products meet safety and regulatory requirements across global importing destinations.
In operating risk programs, you will stay informed on regulations and technologies relevant to your space and bring them into your risk management programs. You will draw from your strong program management skills, presenting organized plans that clearly articulate the problem statement, the recommended solution and milestones along the way. You will clearly identify timelines and owners, and drive progress at the appropriate speed for risk reduction.
To successfully run the compliance program smoothly with challenges of regulatory changes and new business models, you will earn trust with stakeholders by learning about and understanding their business lines and products. You will drive program operational excellence by calling out risks, constraints together with opportunities and build solutions to mitigation risks and scale the operations. When confronted with discordant views, you will drive the best way forward and build consensus.

Compliance Program Leadership - Partner with Amazon's worldwide compliance team and Regional/Country Compliance Program Managers to establish and implement processes ensuring products meet local regulatory requirements in destination importing countries; Lead cross-functional projects to operationalize compliance policies within rapidly evolving international business operations.
Risk Mitigation & Process Improvement - Identify program-level risks including workflow efficiency gaps, resource allocation issues, and customer pain points; Drive scalable solutions through root cause analysis and implementation of process improvements that ensure compliance with consumer product regulations.
Data-Driven Decision Making - Analyze compliance operations data to derive actionable insights; Develop compelling documentation that translates data analysis into strategic recommendations; Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Operational Oversight - Monitor SLA performance and maintain SOPs for the compliance operations team.
Business Partner Support — Handle inquiries and requests from Retail Business partners to unblock compliance for their businesses.
Systems & Tools — Partner with the Product and Tech team to resolve issues in the compliance system.
