The Region Flexibility Engineering organization supports the rapid global expansion of Amazon's infrastructure. Our projects support all Amazon businesses like Stores, Alexa, Kindle, Prime Video. We drive adoption of ever-evolving and advanced AWS and non-AWS technologies, and work closely with AWS teams to improve AWS public offerings. Our organization focuses on robust and scalable solutions, simple to use, and delivered with engineering best practices. We leverage and build foundational infrastructure capabilities, tools, and datasets that enable Amazon teams to delight our customers. Key job responsibilities
Regional Flexibility Engineering is looking for a software engineer passionate about service-oriented architectures that wants to support Amazon’s businesses innovate quickly at scale. Come join us if you enjoy designing and building highly distributed systems that scale! You will solve algorithmically complex problems, work on front end / back end services that scale, and delight thousands of Amazon engineers with the exceptional customer experiences that you build. You will solve intriguing problems designing and building for Amazon’s scale. With our projects spanning across all of Amazon Stores, Digital and Others (SDO) businesses, you will work with AWS technologies and advise SDO teams how to setup required infrastructure. As an innovator who embraces new technology, you will directly influence product design and you will be empowered to choose the highly scalable and available technology to solve complex problems. You will be supported by a large and experienced Principal Engineering community in your work with cross-cutting teams and technologies.
