As a Site Procurement Manager for the Amazon Fulfillment Center, you will serve as the bridge between Global Procurement and the site leadership. You will own the site's procurement responsibilities, including vendor management of services and goods, purchase order management, and inventory management. You will also have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of Amazon Associates responsible for managing the non-inventory materials in a warehouse environment. Your main focus will be motivating, mentoring, and coaching your team, to ensure that the highest levels of safety, quality, and performance are maintained.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead and develop non-inventory team members, who are responsible for receiving material and organizing packaging and other supplies used on the site.
• Mentor and coach team on best practices and compliance
• Serve as procurement subject matter expert on the site, delivering strategic guidance and operational excellence
• Control inventory and packaging materials forecasting
• Lead select local vendor negotiations and relationship management
• Drive cost optimization and innovative procurement solutions
• Oversee P2P (Procure-to-Pay) end-to-end flow
• Partner with Finance on budgets and performance metrics
• Track and report cost savings and avoidance initiatives
• Manage facilities services contracts (janitorial, utilities, etc.)
• Ensure vendor SLA compliance through KPI monitoring
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews
• Collaborate with Global Procurement Organization


A day in the life
Work is done in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building.
Due to the interaction with Global Teams, English is a mandatory Basic Qualification.
