Sales Operations Specialist, New Seller Recruitment
CRI
full-timeCorporate OperationsJob Description
Join Amazon's New Seller Recruitment (NSR) team as a Sales Operations Specialist and lead the execution engine that keeps NSR's seller journey running. Based in Costa Rica, you will directly manage a team of Sales Operations Associates while personally executing and overseeing the daily tactical work streams — pipeline support, opportunity assignments, intake triage, and ARR-to-AGR handoffs — that directly support NSR's recruit, launch, and grow mission. You will serve as the critical bridge between the Costa Rica tactical team and the US-based Sales Operations team, ensuring high-quality, accurate execution across all work streams. This role is for a detail-oriented operator who leads by example, holds a high quality bar, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Directly Manage and Develop Sales Operations Associates: Serve as the direct manager for a team of Sales Operations Associates — setting daily direction, conducting regular 1:1s, providing coaching and feedback, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting their professional growth and development.
- Directly Execute and Oversee Tactical Work Streams: Personally execute and oversee daily work streams — including pipeline support, opportunity assignments, intake triage, Account Recruitment Representative (ARR)-to-Account Growth Representative (AGR) handoffs, and pipeline audits — ensuring accuracy and throughput across the team.
- Serve as US-CR Liaison: Communicate directly with US-based Sales Operations team members, relaying priorities, surfacing blockers, and ensuring the Costa Rica team has the clear direction and context needed to execute.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Establish and enforce quality and accuracy standards for the team's output, conducting regular audits and spot checks to ensure work meets NSR's operational standards.
- Manage Intake and Triage: Own the Asana queue morning review and triage process, ensuring requests are accurately routed, prioritized, and responded to within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify Process Improvements: Surface patterns in tactical work that could be streamlined or automated and partner with the US team to implement solutions.
A day in the life
Your day starts with the Asana intake queue — reviewing overnight requests, triaging priorities, and assigning work to your Sales Operations Associates. You'll check in with your team to set daily direction, answer questions, and ensure execution is on track. Mid-morning, you'll connect with US-based Sales Operations team members to relay updates, surface blockers, and align on shifting priorities. In the afternoon, you'll personally work through a portion of the intake queue, handle complex pipeline support requests that require additional judgment, and conduct quality checks on work completed by your team. You'll close out the day documenting patterns or issues you've noticed and flagging process improvement opportunities to the US team — contributing to a continuous improvement cycle that makes the Costa Rica team more effective over time.
About the team
Sales Operations is the operational engine behind NSR's recruit, launch, and grow mission — owning lead assignment, opportunity creation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data integrity, ARR-to-AGR handoffs, and pipeline hygiene across a 350+ person sales organization supporting $1.9B in Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS). Our team spans three functional areas — pre-launch seller support (ARR), post-launch seller support (AGR), and CRM/pipeline operations — and includes a tactical operations team in Costa Rica focused on the day-to-day execution that keeps the seller journey running. We are data-driven, seller-obsessed, and committed to building systems that scale.
