Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a Sales Operations & Strategy Manager to drive data-driven strategy and end-to-end implementation of revenue acceleration programs for our India advertising business. This role will be instrumental in shaping the path and growing Ads across our platforms— including Amazon.in, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon MX Player, Fire TV, and 3P network — spanning sponsored, display, video and audio ad formats. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with strategic thinking to unlock revenue growth, improve sales conversions and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key job responsibilities:
• Own and drive the end-to-end strategic planning mechanisms for the Amazon Ads LCS Organization, including annual operating plans (OP1/OP2), 3-year vision documents and long-range strategic roadmaps.
• Design, build, and manage recurring business review mechanisms (WBR, MBR, QBR) ensuring the right metrics, narratives, and escalation paths are in place to drive accountability and operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain the organization's strategic narrative, translating complex priorities into clear, compelling documents for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally to align strategic priorities, track dependencies, and ensure execution against commitments.
• Define and track key performance indicators and success metrics across the portfolio, building dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into progress and gaps.
• Champion the adoption and integration of AI and automation technologies across planning, reporting, and compliance workstreams, identifying high-impact use cases and driving implementation to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability of the organization's operations.
• Lead strategic special projects and ad-hoc analyses as directed by the Head of LCS Ads synthesizing ambiguous inputs into actionable plans.
• Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends, and advertiser behavior in the India digital advertising market. Develop frameworks to assess market opportunity sizing and inform investment decisions
