Position Responsibilities:
Lead and define enterprise-wide product strategy and vision for major technology products or suite of products with considerable impact. Drive long-term strategic direction and roadmap execution across complex technical initiatives. Identify and define business opportunities and product strategies where they may not yet exist. Own end-to-end product lifecycle including customer engagement, requirements definition, compliance, feature development priority, product messaging, pricing, and reliability. Design product value propositions and strategic communications for large technical audiences, PR, Marketing, and Sales. Drive alignment across engineering teams and stakeholders towards coherent technology and business strategies. Evaluate and influence technical priorities through deep understanding of core technologies, architecture, and emerging solutions within the product domain. Proactively identify gaps/opportunities within system architectures and drive resolution. Create mechanisms and frameworks to ensure long-term product success including audit processes and reporting standards. Handle critical escalations and may own Profit/Loss (P/L) responsibilities. Actively develop others through mentoring and performing Principal PMT promotion assessment.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and four years of experience. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) defining long term strategy and vision for a major product or a suite of products; (2) owning and driving end-to-end product requirements for a major product or a suite of products; (3) prioritizing complex deliverables while understanding technical concepts, managing trade-offs, and leading meetings with technical and business leaders; (4) utilizing data to manage metrics, drive process improvements, and implement business cases; (5) software product management; and (6) product roadmap planning, feature requirements generation, and go-to market planning and execution.
