Amazon's Human Rights & Social Impact program drives customer trust, business continuity, and sustainable social impact by embedding respect for human rights and the environment throughout Amazon’s entire value chain. We implement company-wide standards and commitments such as our Global Human Rights Principles (GHRP) and Supply Chain Standards (SCS). We seek to continuously improve the tools and processes used in integrating human rights and environmental due diligence across the business. The Human Rights and Social Impact team is looking for a Program Manager to ensure operational excellence and business continuity in our audit operations program. You will be responsible for maintaining service level agreements, driving stakeholder satisfaction, and leading process improvements that directly impact our ability to deliver on sustainability commitments.

This role requires someone who can manage high-volume operations while simultaneously driving strategic initiatives and technology integrations. The Program Manager, Social Responsibility will serve as the operational backbone for critical audit processes, ensuring seamless execution that prevents delays in our sustainability assessments and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners. You will be accountable for operational metrics, stakeholder satisfaction, and the successful implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key job responsibilities
Operational Excellence and Service Level Management
* Maintain and improve service level agreements for audit operations, preventing delays that impact business unit commitments and external partner relationships
* Manage high-volume case operations with focus on response time optimization and customer satisfaction * Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery against established timelines
* Implement metrics tracking and performance monitoring to proactively identify and address operational gaps

Strategic Process Implementation and Change Leadership
* Lead technology integration initiatives that modernize and streamline audit operations processes * Drive adoption of new operational frameworks across multiple business units, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption
* Champion process standardization efforts that improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
* Act as change agent for operational improvements, influencing stakeholder behavior and driving measurable business outcomes

Stakeholder Management and Business Partnership
* Build and maintain strong relationships with audit firms, business units, and internal teams to ensure collaborative problem-solving
* Translate complex operational challenges into clear business impact assessments for leadership decision-making
* Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve escalations and implement sustainable solutions
* Serve as trusted advisor to business units on audit operations best practices and process optimization

Program Development and Innovation
* Lead operationalization of new programs from concept to full implementation, establishing success metrics and governance structures
* Support strategic initiatives including AI-powered forecasting and process automation that drive long-term efficiency gains
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures that enable scalable operations across diverse business requirements
* Contribute to continuous improvement culture by identifying opportunities for operational enhancement and driving implementation
