Job Description

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing customer adoption of AWS Cloud through large Migrations and Database services?

In this role, you will work directly with AWS account teams and customers across enterprise accounts in Brazil by marshaling your deep technology selling experience, enthusiasm for cloud migrations and database technology and results-oriented focus to help AWS customers build amazing products and services on AWS cloud services like Vmware, Microsoft and Oracle migrations, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon DocumentDB.

Your customers will range from name-brand ISV, digital native, and Global 2000 companies across an array of industry verticals from financial services, energy and telecommunications to retail, logistics, and technology.

The successful candidate will have experience driving executive, C-level customer engagement, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with developers and technical architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical opportunities, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

Key job responsibilities
This role is accountable for:
- Driving revenue and market share across the Migrations projects, like Vmware, Oracle and Microsoft, suite of AWS database services in a defined territory or industry vertical as part of the AWS Brazil Area Specialists team.
- Developing executive relationships with AWS customers and create strategic value by introducing and evangelizing AWS database services.
- Advancing qualified sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and data center migration projects. These opportunities will include migrating SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra and additional databases to the AWS cloud.
- Providing feedback to AWS business development, solution architect, marketing, and product teams on what is working and not working to help customers grow their business on AWS cloud services.
