OPM, AI&Automation, Accessories Operations team

Shenzhen, CHN
full-timeProject/Program/Product Management--Technical

Job Description

As an experienced Operations Program Manager (OPM), you will help the team enhance and advance the way we ‘traditionally’ manage programs towards more automated and AI-assisted approaches. With a deep understanding of current tools, methods, and operational workflows, you have an unquenchable desire to continuously find ways to ‘do more with less’, -evolving current practices via identification and deployment of a host of available AI tools. You will champion the training, roll-out, and continuing support of these new tools and methods, becoming recognized as the organization’s subject matter expert in AI-enabled program management.

Key job responsibilities
• AI & Automation Evangelism: Champion the adoption of AI and automation across operations teams. Build awareness, drive excitement, and help partners see how emerging technology can enhance their work.
• Technology Orchestration: Serve as the connection between Operations teams and technical teams (systems engineering, data science, automation). Ensure the right problems are being solved with the right tools, and that solutions land effectively.
• Opportunity Identification: Partner closely with fellow Operations teammates to understand workflows, pain points, and high-value opportunities where automation or AI can improve speed, accuracy, or scalability.
• Adoption & Change Management: Own the rollout of new AI/automation capabilities into operations. Drive training, feedback loops, and iteration to ensure tools are adopted and delivering value.
• Roadmap & Prioritization: Maintain a portfolio of automation and AI initiatives. Prioritize based on business impact, feasibility, and operational readiness. Write narratives (BRDs, PRFAQs) that connect technology investment to business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for operational leaders. Represent the automation and AI portfolio in business reviews.

A day in the life
• You started in operations and are fascinated by what technology can do. You are constantly experimenting with new tools and are excited to share your new ‘discoveries’ with your teammates. You're the person who always asks, "Could we automate this?"
• You don't need to write the code, but you can articulate the desired user experiences and desired outputs, whiteboarding the solution with engineers and leading beta-testing withing the organization prior to ‘official’ roll-out
• You build trust with operational teams because you've been in their shoes — you understand the work before you suggest how to enhance it
• You get excited about bringing people along on the journey, not just delivering a tool and walking away
• You believe technology should make great operators even better
