Job Description

We are looking to hire a highly motivated, front-line Network Deployment Lead to join our growing network scaling team. The responsibilities of the role involve hardware provisioning, configuration, and fiber connectivity for interdependent scaling projects across multiple data center sites. The Deployment Lead will work closely with internal clients and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution in tandem with Technical Program Managers.

Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, very detail-oriented, possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, and has significant experience supporting large-scale enterprise networks. They will be highly proficient in all aspects of installation and troubleshooting of network hardware, software, and fiber connectivity, all combined with a proven project delivery methodology. This position will work with minimal supervision to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and to assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network as we expand.

Network Deployment and Construction Leads are expected to work with established best practices to refine operational procedures, develop new tools, and constantly think in a proactive and innovative manner. The desire and ability to work in an ambiguous and collaborative environment are essential for success.

The lead will be located in the state of Sao Paulo; however, they will also provide remote support to other Data Centers in the region when necessary. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of incidents involving servers, network equipment, and cabling.

Key job responsibilities
-Perform installation and troubleshooting of network hardware across diverse data center environments.
-Configure and manage fiber optic connectivity for interdependent scalability projects.
-Develop and refine operational procedures to improve network infrastructure efficiency.
-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
-Ensure compliance with safety protocols and change management procedures.
-Track and report on project metrics, timelines, and deliverables.
-Contribute to innovative approaches for network automation and scalability.
-Travel up to 20% of the time (nationally and internationally)

A day in the life
Your day will be a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic problem-solving. You will configure network hardware, resolve complex connectivity challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. Typical activities include coordinating rack deployments, managing fiber installations, overseeing equipment upgrades, and participating in daily meetings with vendors and stakeholders. You will work with change management systems, ticketing platforms, and project tracking tools, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
