Location: Herndon, VA

Multiple Positions Available:

1. Manage the Break-Fix Spares category within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) domains. 2. Build Electrical/Mechanical global spares category strategy managing $50M spend across 50K+ Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), 100+ Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and 1000+ models. 3. Define substitution rules and sourcing lanes; maintain a risk log (single-source, long lead, sanctions, Conflicts of Interest). 4. Set service levels by site/region; align stocking and replenishment pathways with maintenance calendars. 5. Establish category sourcing strategies and lead crossfunctional strategic sourcing teams. 6. Run Request for Information (RFI)/Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) cycles; normalize bids by International Commercial Terms (Incoterms), lead times, and payment terms. 7. Compare total landed cost (unit, freight, duties, taxes) and capacity coverage by region. 8. Lead cross-functional reviews (Operations, Finance, Legal) and finalize award scenarios. 9. Negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) (On-Time Delivery (OTD), fill rate, defect rate) and credits; coordinate contract redlines with Legal. 10. Build should-cost/Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models; identify consolidation and standardization opportunities. 11. Structure volume brackets, term discounts, and logistics optimizations to reduce landed cost. 12. Document finance-recognized savings and track realization versus plan. 13. Coordinate with Finance on budget envelopes and with Operations on consumption signals. 14. Build dashboards using Structured Query Language Commented [DR1]: Could you please remove repetitive and abundant duties? Run rolling demand forecasts; set safety stock and Reorder Points (ROPs) by site/criticality. 16. Define weighted supplier evaluation criteria (quality, capacity, geographic coverage, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), price, risk). 17. Validate logistics footprints and contingencies; qualify alternates for high-risk SKUs. 18. Negotiate buffer stock/Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI)/consignment arrangements and escalation paths for supply recovery. 19. Align warranty, returns, and service credits with operational risk and uptime objectives. 20. Lead Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)/Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) tracking performance metrics and present multi-year strategy to leadership. 21. Up to 20% of domestic travel may be required.
