*Automobile/ Transport* Maintenance Engineer (12 hours Shift, Up to $8000) #HCG

Responsibilities

• Performed maintenance, fault rectification, and troubleshooting activities across critical rolling stock and onboard subsystems
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of VVVF Inverters, Traction Motors, and Auxiliary Power Supply (APS) systems.
• Inspection and servicing of Pneumatic/ Hydraulic braking systems, Parking Brakes, and Door Control Units (DCU) to support reliable and safe operation.
• Inspection and rectification of Bogies, Couplers, Suspension Systems (Air Springs), Current Collectors (Third Rail/Pantograph), and interior/exterior components including doors, windows, seats, air-conditioning systems, signage, and communication devices.
• Preparation and review of preventive maintenance schedules, overhaul procedures, and technical checklists.
• Compliance with technical specifications, ISO quality standards, and applicable rail safety regulations.
• Conducted Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on vehicle defects to support reliability improvement and enhance Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Coordinated material control activities to support availability of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Executed maintenance and overhaul activities within designated engineering windows to support fleet availability.
• Participated in rapid-response activities during “Vehicle On Line” failures to minimize operational disruptions.
• Coordinated with design teams, project personnel, and workshop technicians on technical and maintenance-related matters.
• Served as a technical liaison for regulatory representatives, auditors, and component vendors.
