Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for skilled and proactive L2 Cloud Engineers with strong experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Support. The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and services in a production environment. The role requires hands-on expertise in incident resolution, operational support, and cloud administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 support for Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Monitor cloud environments and ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues within SLA timelines.
  • Manage and support Azure resources including:Virtual MachinesStorage AccountsVirtual NetworksLoad BalancersAzure ADBackup & Recovery
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.
  • Support patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with L1/L3 teams, application teams, and stakeholders for issue resolution.
  • Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in on-call support and shift rotations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Administration and Support.
  • Experience in:Azure Virtual MachinesAzure NetworkingAzure StorageAzure Monitor / Log AnalyticsAzure Active DirectoryBackup & Disaster Recovery
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
  • Experience with ticketing and monitoring tools.
  • Good understanding of cloud security and governance concepts.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure certifications such as:Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateAzure Fundamentals
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
