Civil & Structural Engineer

Job Description:

• Perform and prepare design calculations for various civil & structural design items such as piling, tank foundations, equipment foundations, pipe racks, equipment support structure, buildings, roads, and drainage.
• Prepare or review construction documents and drawings.
• Assist in preparation of design technical documents such as technical qualifications, design basis, FEED package, BoQs, etc.
• Support project team in case of design and technical concerns during construction.
• Collaborate with C&S team as well as overall project team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar industry.
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Good knowledge with relevant local design codes (SS Eurocode) as well as international codes (MS Eurocode, API, British and American Codes).
• Proficiency in design & CAD software, STAAD, Pro proficiency is a must.
• Strong computer skills especially MS Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment or individually (if necessary).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
