This role is for a highly analytical, tech-forward investor who combines strong bottom-up fundamental research with modern AI-enabled workflows. The candidate will be expected to help monitor and analyze hundreds of global stocks, made possible by the AI systems, automation tools, and research workflows they help build and improve.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, commercially minded, and comfortable researching companies across regions, sectors, and business models.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor a broad universe of global equities, including existing and prospective investments.
- Track material developments from filings, earnings calls, company announcements, industry news, and other relevant sources.
- Use AI-enabled research workflows, LLMs, automation tools, and traditional screening methods to identify new investment opportunities.
- Conduct bottom-up company analysis and prepare clear investment memos or research notes.
- Assess valuation, business quality, key thesis drivers, risks, and potential buy / hold / sell decisions.
- Build and improve scalable research systems that allow a small team to cover a large number of companies effectively.
- Work closely with senior investment professionals in a collaborative, in-office environment.
Requirements
- Around 2 to 5 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, asset management, hedge funds, family offices, or a related investment role.
- Prior buy-side experience is preferred.
- Strong fundamental research skills, including business analysis, financial statement analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Generalist mindset, with the ability to analyze companies across multiple geographies and sectors.
- Must be an AI power user who is highly comfortable using LLMs, automation tools, data sources, and modern research workflows.
- Basic coding skills such as Python, SQL, or similar are a plus, but not required if the candidate can demonstrate strong workflow-building ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in Singapore and able to work in-office 5 days per week.
Compensation & Career Path
Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus, based on experience, research quality, and overall contribution.
The role offers meaningful exposure to senior investment decision-making and the opportunity to grow into broader responsibility over time.
