Manufacturing Engineer - Central East / 5 days [SAS]
Job Description
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development, tooling design, schedule integration, cost optimisation, sourcing support, quality validation, testing, and supply chain rollout.
Provide technical leadership for the manufacturing of cables, wire harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies, including inspection, testing, and tooling/fixture design.
Utilise knowledge of electrical and electronic production processes and testing methodologies to enhance manufacturing performance.
Manage multiple priorities effectively within tight timelines to ensure successful and profitable project completion.
Collect and analyse data to develop manufacturing solutions and prepare documentation such as OMS, Work Instructions, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
Perform hands-on assembly work and provide technical guidance to technicians and operators.
Deliver onsite customer support for assembly-related repairs, rework, and other technical issues.
Oversee daily manufacturing activities, including BOM management, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and ERP system updates.
Support assembly processes during First Article builds and mass production to meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
Proficient in CAD software.
Can create/interpret (2D & 3D Cable/Mechanical Drawings, Bill of Material, Operating Procedures, Test Procedures, schematic and Interconnection Diagram, etc.).We regret only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
