Senior Programme Executive (Digital & AI Enablement – Palliative Care Toolkit) – hybrid arrangement
Job Description
The Senior Programme Executive will support the development and implementation of the Palliative Care Toolkit, working closely with the clinical team to translate care practices into accessible, user-friendly and digitally enabled resources.
The role will contribute to the development of interactive, digital, and AI-enabled tools to support caregivers, care professionals, and service providers in delivering care for persons living with dementia.
The position focuses on the application and integration of digital and AI tools to enhance learning, engagement, and service delivery across the sector.
Responsibilities
Toolkit Development (with Clinical Team)
• Work closely with the palliative care clinical team (e.g. AHPs, nurses, social workers) to translate clinical practices, care protocols, and engagement strategies into structured toolkit content.
• Support the co-development of materials such as:
o Advance Care Planning (ACP) resources
o Activity engagement guides
o Behavioural management strategies for dementia
o Support for advanced dementia in the community
o Transitional care from Centre-based to home
• Ensure content is structured in a way that is practical, user-friendly, and applicable across different care settings.
Digital & AI-Enabled Content Development
• Support the development of digital resources, including:
o Training videos
o Interactive learning modules
o Micro-learning materials
• Apply AI tools (e.g. generative AI platforms) to support content creation, prototyping, and enhancement of learning materials.
• Explore and prototype simple AI-enabled features (e.g. guided prompts, basic decision-support flows) to enhance usability of the toolkit.
• Enhance user interface and user experience (UI/UX) on the designated website.
User Experience (UX) & Platform Development Support
• Assist in the design of user-friendly digital interfaces and layouts for the Palliative Care Toolkit.
• Develop basic wireframes, content flows, and prototypes to improve accessibility for caregivers and professionals.
• Gather user feedback from staff, caregivers, and partners, and support iterative improvements to the toolkit.
Project Coordination & Vendor Management
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g. web developers, media production, content designers) in the development of digital platforms and materials.
• Support project timelines, deliverables, and documentation to ensure milestones are met.
• Facilitate communication between clinical, programme, and technical stakeholders.
Capability Building & Implementation
• Support internal teams in the adoption and use of digital and AI-enabled tools developed under the project.
• Assist in training staff on how to utilise the toolkit and associated digital resources.
• Contribute to building DSG’s internal capability in digital and AI applications through documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Design and develop web-based resources.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting on the utilisation and effectiveness of the toolkit.
• Track key indicators (e.g. usage, engagement, outcomes) for programme evaluation and funder reporting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of toolkit content and delivery models.
Governance and Compliance
• Ensure that all digital tools and materials developed comply with DSG policies, including data protection and confidentiality requirements.
• Support documentation and adherence to project governance, SOPs, and audit requirements.
Other Duties
• Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Care Services or Project Lead.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Design, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant working experience in programme development, digital projects, or service innovation.
• Experience or exposure to:
o Digital tools, content development or platforms
o UX/UI design or user-centred design (preferred)
o AI tools (e.g. generative AI, automation tools) will be an advantage
• Experience in healthcare, community care, or social services sectors will be an advantage.
• Strong ability to translate concepts into practical tools and resources.
• Interest in applying digital and AI tools for social impact and service innovation.
• Good coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams (clinical + non-clinical).
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Resourceful, adaptable, and able to learn new tools quickly.
