• Responsibilities;
  Support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analytical reports while ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.

• Handle journal entries and account reconciliations using Sage X3 and/or BlackLine systems. Oversee fixed asset accounting activities, including asset capitalization, disposals, depreciation schedules, and compliance with established fixed asset policies and procedures.

• Assist in budgeting processes and cash flow forecasting to support financial planning initiatives. Support the preparation and submission of statutory accounts and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support regulatory compliance.

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with tax agents and regulatory authorities to facilitate compliance matters and audit activities.

• Coordinate with external auditors by preparing supporting documentation and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and statutory submissions. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. Minimum 5 years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience, preferably within Manufacturing or Logistics industries. Experience in process improvement initiatives would be considered an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities with the capability to interpret financial information effectively. Self-driven and proactive with a high level of accountability and ownership. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills.

• Able to work effectively in a team environment while adapting well to changing business needs and priorities. Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and financial data analysis.
