Join the EC2 Pricing Finance team, where you'll shape pricing decisions for Core EC2 and AI workloads that power millions of businesses worldwide. This unique role goes beyond traditional finance, directly influencing pricing strategy, capital allocation, and infrastructure economics across GPU infrastructure, networking, and data center operations.
You'll develop deep expertise in AWS infrastructure economics and Gen AI business modeling while becoming a trusted finance partner to EC2 Product, Deal Desk, Service Finance, and executive leadership. Key job responsibilities

- Partner with Product, Service Finance, and engineering teams to develop and enhance marginal cost models, pricing methodologies, and automated processes that support evolving market conditions
- Lead financial analysis and recommendations for large-scale customer negotiations and deals, synthesizing complex datasets into clear insights that influence multi-billion-dollar business decisions
- Support executive leadership reviews by preparing strategic materials, conducting pricing and margin tradeoff analyses, and communicating complex technical and financial concepts to senior stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and innovation in pricing finance mechanisms, collaborating across Finance, Deal Desk, Supply Chain, and Infrastructure teams to enhance accuracy and efficiency of EC2 pricing models
A day in the life
Your day blends strategic analysis with high-impact collaboration across AWS's most critical infrastructure decisions. You might start by analyzing infrastructure cost trends and pricing impacts for emerging Gen AI workloads, then partner with Product teams on investment scenarios that shape multi-million dollar infrastructure decisions. Afternoons often involve supporting active customer deal negotiations, building financial models that evaluate pricing tradeoffs, or preparing executive materials that influence long-term pricing strategy. You'll work with engineering and supply chain teams to refine pricing methodologies while responding quickly to market changes in this dynamic, highly visible role.
