Product Manager for Apify Store Video team

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of the Video team - the group of Apify-maintained Actors that collect and unlock data from platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Amazon, and Indeed. You'll own one of the highest-traffic and most strategically important verticals in Apify Store, with real autonomy to shape its direction.

What you'll be working on:

• Own the Video team end-to-end - strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and execution for a group of Apify-maintained Actors targeting video (YouTube, TikTok) and other high-traffic verticals (Amazon, Indeed).

• Drive growth - define and execute pricing, packaging, and positioning. Customers are your north star. Revenue is what we watch closely.

• Lead a cross-functional team of developers and a Product Marketing Manager (Eva Pelikánová), with part-time customer support. Translate user pain into roadmap decisions, scope work with developers, and align the go-to-market strategy with Eva.

• Consistently talk to users - run customer calls, dig into support tickets, and synthesize feedback into a clear product direction.

• Define and track KPIs for your team and report on them in regular check-ins with the Head of Store.

• Keep pace with a fast-moving landscape - platforms change often. Monitor competitors, anti-scraping changes, and emerging use cases (especially AI agents), and translate them into product moves.

• Participate in Store-wide strategy alongside the Head of Store and the other Store PMs (Socials, Google, Universe). Your scope isn't limited to your team - you'll have a voice in where Apify Store goes overall.

• Respond to critical incidents - coordinate between developers, support, and customers when things break.

• Integrate AI into your daily work - research, drafting, prototyping, and data exploration. Every PM at Apify works this way.

Who we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• 3+ years of product management experience, ideally on a marketplace, developer tool, data, or social media product where you owned end-to-end outcomes.

• Shipped products you owned end-to-end - not just managed sprints, but defined the strategy, made the trade-offs, and were accountable for the outcome.

• A technical mindset - you understand coding principles and how scrapers and APIs work, and can have a substantive conversation with senior developers. You don't need to know how to code.

• Commercial thinking - you care about revenue, pricing, and unit economics, not just shipping features.

• A strong communicator - clear, concise, with the confidence to push back and the humility to change your mind when the data says so.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and high autonomy - you'll be given a domain and trusted to figure it out.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Czech is not required.

• Able to work full-time and come to the Prague office regularly to be with the team.

Nice-to-haves:

• Comfortable pulling your own data with SQL and BI tools (Mixpanel, dashboards), defining what success looks like without waiting for the data team.

• Experience in a marketplace, two-sided platform, or developer-tools business.

• Familiarity with the AI agent ecosystem and how data flows into LLM applications.

By the end of the first month, we expect you to:

• Get deep into the Apify platform and Apify Store - understand the difference between Apify-maintained and community Actors, how the marketplace works, and how money flows through it.

• Onboard with Engineering, Delivery, Growth, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Support - Apify is cross-functional by design.

• Meet your team - developers and PMM (Eva Pelikánová) - and learn the Actors, the target platforms, and the user base.

• Get fluent with Apify Console, GitHub, ZenHub, Mixpanel, Notion, and the rest of the data stack.

By the end of the first 4 months, we expect you to:

• Take over customer calls and run them on your own.

• Own the metrics for your team - know them cold, monitor them weekly, and start drawing your own conclusions.

• Run sprint planning with the lead developer.

• Ship your first meaningful product or pricing changes.

• Work with your PMM on the go-to-market and positioning for your Actors.

• Contribute actively in Store team meetings - you’ll push back and bring fresh perspectives, not just listen.

From month 4 onwards, we expect you to:

• Hold full ownership and accountability for your team - strategy, roadmap, KPIs, revenue.

• Define the 12-month vision for your team's Actors.

• Help shape the long-term Apify Store strategy with the Head of Store.

• Contribute to a Store-wide initiative beyond your team - a cross-cutting improvement, an experiment, or a process you want to drive.

• Be a trusted voice in cross-team product discussions.
