Infrastructure System Engineer (Day 2)

We are looking for an Infrastructure System Engineer to support, maintain, and optimise our on‑premise as part of the Day 2 team. The role focuses on incident management, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment support, ensuring applications remain reliable and meet business SLAs.

Job Description:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networks, and on‑premise environments.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and system performance across infrastructure components.
• Manage VMware/Hyper‑V platforms and support Windows OS and Windows Server Environments.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL) will be advantageous.
• Perform system monitoring, setup, patching, backup, DR and automate tasks.
• Closely collaborate with Service Delivery Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations.
• Manage and oversee project documentations and subcontractor matters
• Set up network switches, perform network checks, and configure IP settings for project devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and IT system issues.
• Support data migration, integration, monitoring, security and compliance.
• Participate in system integration, UAT/FAT/SAT, deployment, staging, and production setup.
• Work with services such as AD, NMS, ClearPass, MFA/2FA, KMS, Antivirus, Patch Management, MDM.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in infrastructure or system engineering roles.
• Experience with backup/recovery, documentation, and supporting tender requirements.
• Familiarity with certification/key management and common infrastructure services.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team; strong process and documentation discipline.
