Enterprise Application Architect, ERP (Global ITS)


This role owns the enterprise application architecture and strategic roadmapfor the Group’s ERP portfolio, with primary focus on Finance ERP and HCM,ensuring tight integration with other business systems. The incumbent willprovide the technical leadership required to drive global ERP transformation,improve data integrity and operational efficiency, and ensure our applicationlandscape remains secure, compliant, simplified, and scalable.

Keyscope and accountabilities (what the role delivers)

  • ERP architecture & roadmap ownership: Define and maintain the ERP functional, integration and data architecture; promote a clear application strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
  • Transformation leadership: Oversee multiple concurrent, large initiatives (multi-country programs), ensuring architectural consistency, stable delivery, and value realization.
  • Technical strategy & decision making: Lead buy–build–customize assessments with engineering teams; guide platform direction including cloud ERP, PaaS capabilities and embedded/agentic AI adoption.
  • Operational excellence & data integrity: Safeguard reliability, availability and performance of enterprise applications; apply best practices across application lifecycle (development to support); manage master data across applications.
  • Business partnership: Engage senior stakeholders and end users to diagnose pain points and translate business needs into scalable application solutions.
  • People & vendor leadership: Lead a blended delivery model (in-house, subcontractors, vendor/SI resources); build capability and performance culture; manage strategic vendor relationships and strengthen negotiation position with sourcing/vendor management teams.
  • Risk, security & compliance: Partner with governance teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards; manage application/database risks and mitigation actions.
  • Budget accountability: Plan and manage enterprise application budget to ensure cost effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

Criticalrequirements (must-haves for approval)

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in IT, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications; proven delivery as key technical leader on large-scale, multi-country ERP programs.
  • ERP capability: Hands-on experience with at least two mainstream ERP and/or HCM platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics); strong Cloud/SaaS exposure.
  • Agentic AI: Hands-on experience with agentic AI is required (vibe coding / harness engineering are advantages).
  • Commercial & stakeholder management: Demonstrated strength in vendor management, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and architectural governance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (CS/IT/Accounting/Business); Master’s/MBA strongly preferred.

Preferred/ added advantages

  • Exposure to CRM, Digital Workplace, and other business-critical platforms (e.g., TMS/WMS).
  • Background across both professional services/consulting and in-house environments.
  • Strong project/change delivery capability (Agile, change management) and solid financial acumen.
