Electrical Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer service calls to troubleshoot technical issues and perform on-site inspections and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct testing of various types of EV charger during and after installation, ensuring proper commissioning procedures are followed.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and proactively identify and report technical abnormalities.
  • Effectively communicate with HQ colleagues to ensure timely root cause identification and resolution of technical issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment and system faults effectively.
  • Manage service partners, including onboarding and refresher training, case assignments, and periodic performance evaluations based on service KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of service activities to ensure full traceability.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock levels for smooth operations.
  • Maintain daily communication with customers to provide updates, ensure issue resolution, and follow up appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in engineering discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in related field
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and circuitry
  • Experience with EV charging systems or similar technology will be advantageous
