DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer About the Role We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive automation, infrastructure reliability, and secure software delivery. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to build and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities Kubernetes & Container Platforms

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, or self-managed).

• Implement container orchestration, scaling, and lifecycle management.

• Troubleshoot pod, service, ingress, and storage issues in production.

Cloud Services (AWS / Azure)

• Provision and manage cloud resources (compute, networking, storage, databases) using Infrastructure as Code.

• Optimize cloud costs, performance, and security.

• Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

CI/CD Pipelines

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).

• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for multiple environments.

• Implement pipeline monitoring and failure handling.

Application Security / DevSecOps

• Integrate security tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning, dependency checks) into pipelines.

• Enforce security policies, secrets management, and compliance controls.

• Collaborate with security teams on threat modeling and vulnerability remediation.

Application Release Management

• Manage release processes, versioning, rollback strategies, and blue/green or canary deployments.

• Maintain release documentation and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Automate release gates and approval workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Kubernetes: 3+ years (self-rating 7/10 or higher expected)

• Cloud (AWS/Azure): 3+ years

• CI/CD: 3+ years with at least one major tool

• DevSecOps: 2+ years with security tool integration

• Release Management: Proven experience managing production releases

Tools You May Use

• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Azure Pipelines

• Security: SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, Checkmarx, Aqua, Twistlock

• Cloud: AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) or Azure (AKS, VNet, Key Vault)

• IAC: Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Pulumi

• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic

Nice to Have

• Certifications: CKA, CKAD, AWS/Azure DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)

• GitOps experience (ArgoCD, Flux)
