Field Service Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing semiconductor solutions provider, specializing in used tool sales, spare parts repair, and consumable supplies for 8-inch (200mm) and 12-inch (300mm) wafer fabs.

With a local workshop in Singapore focused on RF generator and high-value parts repair, they support some of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

• Install, qualify, and support semiconductor equipment at customer fabs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

• Support equipment relocation, hook-up, and upgrades.

• Document service activities, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Work closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• 2–5 years’ experience in 8-inch or 12-inch wafer fabs (preferred).

• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome.

• Hands-on knowledge in Diffusion / Thin Film / Etch / CMP modules is a plus.

• Extra advantage if familiar with vacuum systems, robotics, and pneumatics.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
