Core Responsibilities
- Timely monitor production line status (equipment utilization, WIP level, etc.) and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve optimal production performance (output, cycle time, etc.).
- Analyze production-related data and dynamically develop and adjust strategies to ensure achievement of production KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including workload reduction, lost time minimization, RPT and OI scheduling optimization, and Q-time control enhancement.
- Establish and optimize process management projects to ensure operational stability and sustainable long-term performance.
- Lead abnormal issue analysis and drive improvement actions, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize effectively against defined timelines.
- Demonstrate strong data analysis and interpretation capability, along with proven ability in team building, mentoring, and coaching.
Production Operations & Execution
- Lead a team of operators to maintain strong manufacturing discipline and ensure stable daily production operations.
- Execute production plans based on priorities and adjust dynamically according to real-time shop floor conditions.
- Monitor hourly output (Hourly Moves) and performance against targets, and take timely corrective actions to close gaps.
- Make data-driven decisions to ensure achievement of output, cycle time, and overall operational efficiency targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Maintain close communication and collaboration with Equipment, Process, Engineering, and Planning teams.
- Coordinate cross-area resources to optimize tool loading and manage process time window constraints.
- Drive cross-functional solutions to enhance overall production and fab performance.
People Leadership & Development
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance capability and engagement.
- Ensure team alignment with production goals and strengthen accountability and execution.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all operations comply with company quality standards, manufacturing requirements, and procedures.
- Promote a “Safety First” culture and ensure full adherence to all safety protocols.
- Enforce operational discipline to minimize risk and ensure consistent execution.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
- Systematically improve process capability and reduce manufacturing cost.
- Establish and refine process management mechanisms to sustain and scale improvement outcomes.
