Job Description

About Espresso AI

Espresso AI’s mission is to use machine learning to automate performance engineering. Today, we help our customers reduce Snowflake and Databricks SQL compute costs by up to 70%, unlocking massive efficiency gains without requiring any workflow changes.

More and more businesses are adopting data warehouses to manage invaluable data analytics workloads. Unfortunately, the costs of these workloads often grow exponentially over time, with no easy way for users to reduce cost — until now. Our next-generation, AI-based approach saves our users huge amounts of money.

We’re a well-funded, early-stage startup scaling quickly. Our most recent round was led by Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross.

About the Role

As Field Marketing Manager, you will own Espresso AI's presence in the market, from major conferences to intimate executive dinners, and the outbound infrastructure that turns those moments into pipelines.

You will manage everything from design and logistics to on-site execution, and build the side events and follow-up workflows that drive real deal momentum. You will work closely with our Head of Growth on events, speaking engagements, and marketing.

What You’ll Work On

  • Own and optimize a $500k+ annual budget across event sponsorships and partnerships

  • Plan and execute Espresso AI's presence at major industry conferences - from sourcing to on-site logistics

  • Manage booth setup, vendor coordination, branded collateral, and all related marketing ops

  • Organize high-impact side events (dinners, meetups, roundtables) that deepen relationships with prospects and partners

  • Build outbound workflows for pre-event awareness and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI

  • Identify and secure speaking engagements for our CEO at conferences, webinars, and podcasts

  • Support CEO prep, slide organization, calendar management, and logistics around events and campaigns

What You Bring

  • Experience managing marketing budgets, with a track record of allocating spend across sponsorships and events that drive measurable pipeline

  • Strong end-to-end event execution skills. You've run conference logistics, managed vendors, and produced creative branded experiences.

  • A talent for building high-touch side events that bring the right people into the room and move relationships forward

  • Experience building outbound workflows around events; pre-event campaigns, post-event sequences, and the discipline to close the loop on every touchpoint

  • A network in the industry and instincts for identifying the right conferences, webinars, and podcasts where executive visibility pays off

  • Comfort working directly with senior leadership. You're organized, proactive, and skilled at supporting exec prep without needing a lot of hand-holding

  • A bias toward ownership — you're equally comfortable setting strategy and handling the details that make execution airtight

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in field marketing roles at data, cloud, or infrastructure software companies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, analytics, or cost optimization tools)

  • Experience in early-stage startup with high ownership

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
based on final leveling

    • $125,000-175,000 Base Pay + Equity

  • Employee-friendly equity terms (early exercise)

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401k with 4% match

  • Daily catered meals

  • Gym membership
