The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to help redefine how AURA’s clients understand, measure, and validate our performance. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to blend technical analytics capability with product thinking, operational understanding, and storytelling.
You’ll play a central role in shaping AURA’s customer-facing analytics, ensuring every client and partner can independently access clear, accurate, actionable data. You’ll work closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Success to build powerful analytics that drive real-world outcomes: safer communities, better operational efficiency, and improved engagement across the platform.
The role is a highly visible position where your insights directly influence decision-making across Africa, the UK, and our new US operations.
What You’ll Own
- Client-Facing Analytics & Dashboards
- Build and maintain dashboards that help clients understand performance, usage trends, user engagement, service levels, efficiency, and value.
- Work with Customer Success Managers to create client-ready materials, automated insight reports, and monthly/quarterly reviews.
- Ensure dashboards are intuitive, visually consistent, and aligned with AURA’s brand and data governance practices.
- Build and maintain dashboards that help clients understand performance, usage trends, user engagement, service levels, efficiency, and value.
- Client Requirements & Insight Translation
- Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders to understand what they need from their analytics experience.
- Translate business questions into technical specifications, SQL queries, and dashboard logic.
- Support the evolution of AURA’s client analytics product by providing structured feedback and insight-driven recommendations.

- Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting for Customer Success through automated processes and self-service analytics.
- Support the move toward embedded analytics and proprietary data packages within the AURA products.
- Collaborate with Product to refine features that improve the client analytics experience.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, or similar.
- Experience gathering and translating client requirements into technical analytics solutions.
- Exposure to dbt, data modelling, and metric layer governance is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
