Summary: We are currently in search of a proficient Backend Development Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to become a valuable member of our trading team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with the design, construction, and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code, thereby ensuring optimal application performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust backend systems for trading applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, traders, and other stakeholders to integrate innovative solutions.
- Optimize application performance while ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement data storage solutions, ensuring data security and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to swiftly resolve issues.
- Remain informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively incorporate them into development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in backend development, preferably within the trading or financial services sector.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with database management systems, including SQL or NoSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
