Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee and manage the company's information technology systems and infrastructure. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, supporting business processes, and leading a team of IT professionals to meet the organization's technological needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, including staff management and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
- Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are robust and reliable.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and meet technology needs and objectives.
- Manage IT budgets, negotiate with vendors, and plan for future IT infrastructure developments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and integrate them into the company's IT strategy.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and software management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
- Familiarity with data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
