Resident Engineer

We are assisting our client, an established IT Solutions Provider, to hire a Resident Engineer to augment their existing Professional services team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ongoing operations of the newly implemented solution network platform & monitoring of the platform to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Regular maintenance activities, including updates, patches, vulnerability management, and performance tuning.
• Ensure monitoring and alert mechanisms are adequate to detect system issues or security alerts.
• Ensure continuous integration with NAC (network access control) of network devices and endpoint systems.
• Ensure timely response to network security and operations incidents and provide problem resolutions to ensure SLA are met.
• Maintain operations reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree holders in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Preferably, with 1 -2 years relevant experience in either Armis, Forescout, or Cisco Catalyst Center, and Cisco ISE, and integration to components such as switches, Cisco Wireless, and Campus wired, and wireless Cisco Networks.
