Ops DBA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Administer and maintain multiple database platforms including Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL, oracle Encryption (TDE), Hardware Security Module (HSM)

* Monitor database health, performance, and availability; proactively address issues before they impact service

* Perform database backups, restoration testing, and disaster recovery planning

* Apply database patches, upgrades, and security fixes in line with change management processes

* Manage database user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with security policies

* Tune queries, indexes, and configurations to optimise database performance

* Support application teams with database-related issues, schema changes, and deployment activities

* Maintain comprehensive database documentation and configuration records

* Respond to and resolve database incidents within defined SLA timeframes

Min 6 years experience

Top 3 MUST have skillset

• Oracle (including Oracle RAC and RMAN backup/recovery)
• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• AWS RDS
