Engineer/Senior Engineer (M&E)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate all MEP (including electrical systems) subcontractor technical submissions, shop drawings, material submissions for compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and design intent
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and BIM team to resolve any technical issues, design discrepancies, RFIs, and interface conflicts
• Provide technical support and recommendations to project teams on M&E engineering matters
• Manage and monitor the submission status ensuring timely approvals and authority clearances, and support testing and commissioning processes as required
• Maintain proper records and registers of all submissions, approvals, and technical correspondences
• Monitor progress of M&E works and identify potential delays or constraints affecting project delivery
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure M&E activities are aligned with the overall construction schedule
• Ensure M&E works comply with project specifications, approved method statements, and applicable codes and standards

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 5–8 years in MEP engineering with at least 3 years inthe Construction industry
• Proven experience in technical submissions processes and multidisciplinary team coordination for construction projects
• Training or experience in BIM softwares and coordination is a plus
