Internal (corporate IT – higher weightage)
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT operations of the company. Provide end-user support and training.
• Procurement, install, and configure computer hardware and software applications within budgets and as per organisation’s standards.
• Manage IT Asset Inventory and proper IT equipment disposal.
• Maintain and manage all IT contracts and renewals, including vendor management.
• Manage and assist in various IT infrastructure migrations.
• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Provide Information Security training for company employees.
• Assist in maintaining Information Security and Compliance of the company as per ISO/IEC 27001 standard and company policies. Ensure all documentation comply to ISO standards, policies, and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting of cybersecurity measurements (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, Routers, Network Switches, Antivirus Server/Clients, End Point Security Servers, Wireless Controllers, etc.), and continuously monitor for new cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities to mitigate intrusions, malware, and attacks.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting of Access Controls, Backup Systems, processes, and policies to ensure disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Assist in performing security patch updates for Firewalls, Routers, Network Switches, Wireless Controllers, Servers, Workstations, and Applications.
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
External (project IT – mid weightage)
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software—including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers—at client and project sites.
• Monitor network performance across multiple external environments and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal service delivery.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to project stakeholders and end-users, resolving network and system-related issues promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, system settings, and troubleshooting procedures for each project.
• Manage IT contracts and renewals related to external vendors and service providers, including coordination and escalation.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and managing LANs and WANs tailored to project-specific requirements.
• Support the implementation of security measures to protect client and project data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Contribute to the development and execution of disaster recovery plans and backup procedures for external deployments.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure project networks and systems remain secure and efficient.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
• Preferably with Diploma/Degree in Computer Systems and Networking or equivalent work experience.
• Ideally with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detailed orientated and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of computer networks, systems, and cybersecurity concepts (Preferred: CCNA Routing & Switching and CCNA Security or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server Domain Environment and Active Directory administration.
• Basic knowledge of cloud computing (Preferred: AWS).
• Comfortable to travel to project sites as needed to support network and system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
