Ops DBA Engineer

Job Description:

• Administer and maintain multiple database platforms including Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL, oracle Encryption (TDE), Hardware Security Module (HSM).
• Monitor database health, performance, and availability; proactively address issues before they impact service.
• Perform database backups, restoration testing, and disaster recovery planning.
• Apply database patches, upgrades, and security fixes in line with change management processes.
• Manage database user access, roles, and permissions in compliance with security policies.
• Tune queries, indexes, and configurations to optimise database performance.
• Support application teams with database-related issues, schema changes, and deployment activities.
• Maintain comprehensive database documentation and configuration records.
• Respond to and resolve database incidents within defined SLA timeframes.

Requirements:

• Top 3 MUST have skillset - Oracle (including Oracle RAC and RMAN backup/recovery), Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), AWS RDS.
