ALG is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our OEM client in Singapore. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high safety and quality standards, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with stringent airworthiness and AS9110 regulations.
This is a 2 year contract position with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform surveillance on maintenance activities on aircraft and components.
Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure work performed is in compliance with applicable airworthiness regulatory requirements and AS9110 requirements.
Assist in obtaining and maintaining AS9110 certification.
Conduct continuation training on regulatory requirements, MOE, human factors, Safety Management System, etc.
Follow up with corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
Perform incident/accident investigations when required.
Lead continuous improvements projects and perform new capability evaluations when required.
Consolidate and monitor quality performance data to predict possible trends.
Sample check on work documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Any other functions as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum 2 to 5 years’ Quality assurance experience in an MRO or airline environment.
Familiarity with RAMCO & SAP systems, as well as AS9110 and/or Part 145 requirements, is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in data management and trend analysis.
Highly Preferred: Possess a Part 66 License or FAA A&P Certificates.Highly Preferred: Attended Auditor Training and Train the Trainer Course.
