Accountant (Urgent)

We are looking for passionate Accountants who are looking for a stable working environment in the education industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures smooth monthly closing of accounts for subsidiaries and joint venture companies
• Involves in year end audit and handles all audit related matters
• Based on budget information from source departments, review budget figures and tax computations for submission to Group Reporting
• Provides accounting service to JV partners or investors
• Prepares management reports for Senior Management, joint venture partners or investors
• Ovesee and provides guidance to 1 to 2 team members
• Handles day to day operation enquires and requests from CEO
• Prepare, review and submission of GST report
• Prepare annual company tax for filing

Requirements:

• ACCA / Degree in Accounting
• Proficient in Xero, AP and AR
• Minimum 5 years of experience in closing of accounts
• Knowledge in GST and tax provision
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry and knowledge of SAP
• Meticulous, good initiative, responsible and able to work independently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Possess knowledge and experience in MS Excel, Word
• Team player
• Singaporeans / SPRs preferred

OTHER INFORMATION

• Must have hands-on experience with Xero.
• Able to start work immediate/short notice.
