OPERATIONS CONTROLLER

Responsibilities

• Coordinate container trucking operations to achieve timely deliveries and pickups, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Plan and optimize routes for prime mover drivers by analyzing delivery schedules and current traffic conditions to reduce transit times.
• Monitor truck movements and update job progress in real-time using logistics systems to maintain accurate operational tracking.
• Communicate proactively with drivers and clients to resolve operational issues and maintain smooth transport workflows.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transport operations and optimize resource utilization.

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess Nitec or equivalent certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in trucking or container logistics.
• Apply strong knowledge of Singapore’s land transport regulations and routes to ensure compliance and effective planning.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate clear coordination among stakeholders.
• Maintain the ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment.
