Our client is a global multinational corporation and a leading provider of advanced electronic and materials solutions to major players in the semiconductor, battery, and electronics industries. With a strong international presence and long‑term partnerships with tier‑one customers, the company is known for its technological expertise, stable business operations, and structured corporate environment.
They are currently expanding their Singapore team and are seeking a Sales Engineer to support and grow their electronic materials business.
Working Details
Working Location: Jurong East, Singapore (role involves islandwide and overseas travel)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM (Occasional client meetings and entertainment after office hours may be required)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support key B2B customers in the semiconductor, battery, and electronics industries
- Handle purchase order (PO) processing and coordinate end‑to‑end sales activities
- Analyze customers’ production plans to forecast demand and support JIT delivery, logistics, and inventory planning
- Prepare and present technical proposals based on product performance data
- Support product qualification and adoption on customers’ mass production lines
- Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to support sales strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, quality, logistics) to resolve quality, delivery, and technical issues
- Support pricing discussions and long‑term supply agreements
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including volume and revenue analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
(Preferred: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Business Administration with technical exposure) - Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in sales, sales engineering, or technical B2B roles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work across internal and external stakeholders
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
- Proficient in English and Chinese for communication with global clients
- Ability to communicate in Korean is an advantage
