Job Description
Finance Manager – Non Profit Sector • Financial Management & Reporting – Lead month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely, accurate reporting aligned with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Oversee proper accounting for grants, donations, and fund utilisation. • Controls & Compliance – Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, and internal controls. Be the main liaison for internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvements in systems and workflows. • Governance Support – Coordinate statutory filings, maintain records of board and committee meetings, and ensure adherence to governance and regulatory requirements. • Stakeholder Partnership – Work closely with senior leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. • People Management – Providing guidance to a team of finance executives in reporting and responsible for their personal development
Requirements • Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certification (CPA, ACA, or equivalent) highly preferred. • 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership, with at least 3years in a leadership role. • Strong technical expertise in Singapore FRS, fund accounting, and grant reporting. • Proven leadership in developing and mentoring finance teams and experience in systems enhancement would be essential • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. • High integrity, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
