SAS Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAS Data Engineering & Financial Risk Analytics Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data integration, liquidity reporting, treasury analytics, and financial risk platforms. The role requires deep expertise in SAS programming, SQL development, Unix shell scripting, financial data processing, production support, and regulatory reporting within complex banking environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of critical reporting and analytics solutions supporting treasury, liquidity management, risk management, and investment banking functions while ensuring operational stability, data quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAS-based data processing and reporting solutions.
• Design ETL and data integration workflows for risk and regulatory reporting.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Optimise SAS and SQL programs for performance and efficiency.
• Support liquidity reporting, stress testing, and financial risk analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and technology stakeholders.
